Anyone know what one of these is? Basically iv received my county card from my club and on it the only thing left blank is CDH Number. How do I find out what it is? Is it something my club should have filled in but haven't? Due to use my county card for the first time this Friday and wondering if it would possibly stop me being able to use it? Have tried Google but doesn't bring up a whole lot of stuff I understand. Anyone that can shed a bit of light on the situation I thank you in advance!

Your CDH number is a enique number assigned to you by EGU which allows your HC to be track and checked quickly on the EGU HC database - it's like your Golf HC bank number as such. If you have an official HC your club should be able to give you your number

If you want to pm me your details I can find it out for you tomorrow

Your club should be able to tell you what it is.

You can also get it off the Golf England website, but not sure if you need it in the first place to register with them.

There are also a few handicap secs on here who might be able to look it up for you.

Your CDH (Central Database of Handicaps) is seperate from your county card. Your club should be able to provide it for you, it is yours forever and you keep the same one even if you move clubs.

Cheers guys, iv actually just searched the forum for info (probably should of done that before creating a new post) and have registered on the suggested England golf website. It says unique ID- (ten digit code) would that be my cdh number then? Thanks for swift replies. Only slightly worrying thing is on England golf it says handicap - 0. And I'm actually off 20. Is this because I haven't played a competitive round?

Do you have an official congu HC given by the club after putting in three cards ? When was it given to you ?

Mine says 0 as well, i just assumed it was because i had only just got my handicap after putting in 3 cards and not played a comp yet

Yeah put 3 cards in about 5 or 6 months ago and was given 20. Has my hcp become inactive or something? Is that a thing?

I expect that they haven't entered your HC into the system and you will need to put three further cards in to get it competitive

As soon as you put in three cards and are assigned a HC it is competitive and they need to synchronise that with the CDH

Okidoke cheers Phil will raise the question when I go up tomorow. Says handicap status - unknown. So what you have explained there sounds likely to have happened. Was going to play a comp this Saturday aswell for the first time. Put it off for long enough, looks like I'll be waiting a bit longer now then. Cheers

If it's an administration thing at the club's end they should be able to resolve it straight away ie if they allocated you a handicap based on 3 cards 5 months ago but didn't put the allocation on the system they use then they should simply do the latter now - and you are good to go.

There is clearly errors with the England golf site at the moment. Mine hasn't updated since the 18th June, and I know others who said they show as 0.

Ah, hopefully it's just an error on their web page then and my club had actually done what it should of allowing me to play my first comp at the weekend. Fingers crossed
