I am looking for a new CCTV system and Come across this. What’s folks thoughts or is there something similar out there.
4 cameras are enough. The old system had two.

Prefer the ones that arent easy to push with a broom to move

The more round ones that are fixed in place

More memory is better 1tb fills up quickly with 4 cameras


I switched to motion only on 2 and 720p record

I have a pet dislike for Swann having bought them before, their software can be slow, difficult to configure at times and connectivity is the spin of a roulette wheel. ? Ave just seen this. Ordered the 4K system 8 channel from Curry’s. After a faff about with SWANN, there system went from £249.99 to £349.99 when placing an order. Had a chat with Michelle and she blamed Australian time for a lag in the promotion.
Currys was far cheaper for a 2TB memory, 4 K 8 channel, At £309.99 so it’s sorted.
Thanks for the feedback everyone. Now where’s me Hammer.
