Well for those of you coming up to play castle Stuart soon, you are in for a treat.
Turned up at the course and went into the pro shop where we received a very warm welcome by very friendly staff, they explained the layout of the clubhouse and the facilities outside.
We went down to the driving range which is an outside affair with balls and tees that you helped yourself to, the mats were like none of the driving ranges I've visited before, deep and not threadbare!!
The chipping and putting green we're also in amazing condition.
It was then down to the starters hut for a complimentary castle Stuart bag with a bag tag, tees, course guide and pencil and an explanation of tee and flag set up and that on the finish of the front nine to return to the starters hut for a bite and drink.
Onto the first tee and wow what a sight that greets you, the views will have you stopping and taking pictures and the course is immaculate be prepared for a hard fight with any wayward shots though.
I won't bore you with how badly I played but I hope you have as good a day.image.jpg

Sounds awesome, looks like you get well taken care of. Really looking forward to our trip north, just hope we get the weather that it looks like you got.

Ive played there a fair bit as a mate worked there untill the end of last year, so got lots of free golf.

I think they still do the local 4 ball rate of £200, which is not too bad, but they have stuck the prices up and up and i can't see many paying full whack of £170+ anymore.

A good test though and always in pretty good condition as they close from Nov to end of March

Yeah that's what we got local rate for 200 a round, the course was immaculate 👏

Personally I'd never go back, on course marshalling was horrendous as they were quite clearly afraid to upset the visiting foreign parties.
The range/clubhouse/putting green were good though and the course was reasonable.
