I've basically fallen out of love with the Ogio Syncro ... Long and short it's got to go.

Looking at new cart bags and one thing completely amazes me, why do bag manufactures constantly put the umbrella holders on the underside of the bag where you can't access the dam brolley quickly without un strapping the bag to get it offl.

Seems the only manufacture who offers a brolley holder on the topside of the art bag is taylormade, and quite frankly I can't stand any of their designs,

So... Criterion.

Pref waterproof or at least shower proof
14way devider that doesn't snag clubs
Squarish style so that doesn't constantly twist on the dam trolley
Would really like a bg where brolley mounting is on the upper side of the bag and not underneath,

Help really appreciatedl:cheers:

i have a powakaddy deluxe, its made of PVC so pretty water proof. separate brolley zip.sits well on my motocady. plenty of room and 14 way divider. not much to complain about really!!

Got a Wilson Staff one, does what it needs to, plenty space and brolly holder on the top.

Looks nice aswell, IMO. Would recommend them.

+ 1, except the putter well entrance frayed on mine and they were not interested , and they don't do repairs.

Should add would ideally like to stay away from PVC as it's a push trolley and I'm lazy... I mean I don't want to make the trolley excessively heavier than needed,

Mines on a push trolley oddsocks and not heavy on it, I meant more heavy getting in and out the car. Only used a carry bag for years so I say its heavy against that, but I do carry all my stuff in it ie waterproofs and 50 odd balls.

Interested to see opinions as I'm in the same boat as still can't find one that ticks all my boxes. Leaning to the ping dlx of the motocaddy pro so far myself.

I have the new Titleist Stadry cart bag it does everything you want although the brolley is bottom left, it's still easy to get to on my powakaddy. In fact I keep my brolley in one of the club slots by keeping my Driver and 3 wood in the large double slot of 14.

I've still got my tour bag but water goes through it, not off it. The stadry does not turn when on the trolley and is lighter as well.

Another Ogio lover... but just switched to Motocaddy Pro Series... looks the piece, brolly in front and pvc so keeps things dry.

Powakaddy bags have a divider for the umbrella inside the bag so it goes in with the clubs. A great idea. I also have two for sale in the for sale section ( shameless plug!). Stewart C3 cart bags have an umbrella sleeve on the side of the bag, so no straps to undo, straight out and straight back in again when the rain has passed ( though I think the C3 is now discontinued).
For me, golf bags are all about convenience and practicality and the umbrella issue is a prime example. Putter pits are a great idea as are insulated cool pockets. I also like the idea of a fixed rain cover easily accessible from its own pocket at the bottom of the bag, like the Big Max Silencio. Big Max seem to be quite inventive on bag design.
In regard to twisting, if you have a Powakaddy or Motocaddy consider a bag from the same manufacturer as they have moulded bases to their bags that "lock" in to the base plate on their trolleys. They are both good bags too.

I have Steward C3 and can confirm it is spot on. Couple of pockets (on large, on valuables) have fully waterproof zips etc, not sure why not all, incremental cost for manuf can't be huge surely.

I got mine ex demo so good price, PING DLX is other option I had seen and cannot fault.
