Probably a strange question but does anyone here carry their gps around the course in their pocket?

I'm thinking of getting a GPS. I currently have a bushnell rangefinder, keep this in pocket in bag. Like the idea of having a GPS and just being able to glance at distance, not pulling rangefinder in and out of bag. Had a garmin watch earlier in year which was good but couldn't get used to wearing watch playing for some reason. Possibly didn't give it a chance. Only concern would be I like the exact distance to pin from 110 yards in.
Thinking golf buddy voice is small and I could have it in my pocket if I wanted to or clipped on belt etc.

I plan on using stand bag for winter instead of electric trolley and don't like the idea of having a GPS attached to a carry bag as I think there is a greater risk of losing it compared to when it's on a trolley bag which is more stable. So for winter I was thinking about something I could carry in pocket. Are the bigger GPS units too bulky/heavy to carry in pocket?

A guy at our place has the voice, and has it clipped to the peak of his cap.

I wouldn't fancy a 'normal' sized GPS in my pocket.

Have you considered one of the many GPS watches?

Ya I mentioned I had a Garmin watch earlier in year. But didn't like wearing it. Sold it after 2 rounds. Was probably an impulse decision, maybe I should have given it more of a chance. Guess the watch could also be attached to bag if necessary (or carried in pocket :) )

Sorry you did, and i just re-read it twice and still couldn't see the watch bit! i have had one of those days!!

You are going to have issues with any gps if you want exact yardage from 110 in you'll need to stick with the bushnell.
The more fancy ones have moveable flags around the green but not exact.
Seen a few with belt clips on waist or even back of trews.
