This morning whilst waiting for my tee time, a friend asked me if I would care to join him playing Carnoustie Championship tomorrow morning. When I got home after the round my local pro called me and asked if I was doing anything tomorrow as he had a tee time at Carnoustie later in the morning. Just like busses!

So what you going to do? Who gets the nod?

Do you really want to play with a Pro, even a club pro, round arguably the toughest Open track there is...in winter....in a strong wind? You'll get schooled!:p

Friend asked first, go with them!;)

I play regularly with the pro round Carnoustie, he is great company and I don't feel at all intimidated. But as you suggest, first come, first served. There's always next week.
