Not much of a game.

Lennon should have been man of the match as he gave Evra his hardest game since his debut.

But United found their new No1 (and England's)and Jonny Evans and Anderson continued to grow into the team. With 6 regualr first teamers on the bench it showed the in-depth strength.

Not sure what the big gormless Russian was doing and what Zakora needed to do to get booked (OK - O'Shea should have got a Red Card) and Ronaldo's reputation has finally reached the point where the referees perception has taken over from the reality of each incident - stone wall penalty (this comes from my non- United supporting friends)

For the rest - the stadium is quite tidy, the pitch is poor (memories of the old Wembley with cramp affecting players & officials), the beer fizzy :( & the food overpriced.

And for John Terry's education see Ryan Giggs' penalty :)

Agree that had I been a neutral I would not have watched. Perhaps you could institute a democratic vote system to select what is on the TV (say every 15 minutes)

I'm sorry, but I got bored $h17le55 with the game. It promised so much but tight defending and marking seemed to temper the game.

One or two players shouldn't have been wearing the shirt due to some very inept displays. As stated, the big gormless Russian (would have been motm had it been a rugby game)lots of shots way over the bar.
O'Shea should indeed have been sent off for his reckless challenges.

New stars have emerged such as Foster in Uniteds goal, what a hero during the penalties for one so young.
