To be honest thats about the best cup tie I have seen in a long while. Meant so much to Cardiff as the underdogs and really gave it a go and Liverpool also didnt want to lose and although they wasnt at their best it created a quality match to watch. I am absolutely gutted for Cardiff as I would have loved to seen them turn the scousers over.

Not the biggest LFC fan but glad they won. Got to follow the English club. Also no time for Cardiff ever since their thousands of yobs caused untold damage to our town many years ago and that Cretin that they had as a Chairman at the time virtually encouraging it so glad they lost well done LFC:clap:even if they did make hard work of it.

As it stands, Liverpool are now in Europe. If Liverpool managed to snatch one of the top four spots in the PL, would Cardiff then be entered into Europe?
Or, if Liverpool qualify for the Europa league via their league position, would Cardiff get into the Europa cup off the back of the Carling cup?

I think they would AW. Same with FA cup final, if winner quals via leagie for UCL or Europa then the runner up gets the spot (or at least thats how it used to be)
horrible final as an LFC fan, just felt relieved after the penalties although we had enough play and chances to win it in normal time.

As a neutral it was a decent final and better than many where teams are scared to commit and make a mistake. Caroll looked woefully out of touch on a big stage again. Thought Bellamy was class when he came on and that Suarez did nothing to repair his damaged reputation. Diving whingeing and gesticulating (ok not offensively) to the officials made him to be nothing more than a spoilt prima donna. Thought Cardiff were wll organised, played some good football and did really well to soak up the constant pressure int he second half without too many scares.
Some shoddy penalties though and once Liverpool edged ahead 2-1 it was inevitable they'd win. Sadly I don't think Liverpool will get 4th in the PL and so Cardiff will miss out on Europe. Ended up watching the sky coverage because Mark Lawrenson was doing my head in on BBC

After watching Arsenal v Spurs, the game seemed well below par to me. I'm not a supporter of any of todays clubs, but do like to see Dalglish do well, but this was disappointing.Still cant understand what ur saying

Good game to watch even if it was a bit lacking in Quality. Suarez is easily the best LFC have to offer, take him out the team and there is not much to shout about really. He was still up to his usual tricks though diving and waving his arms around at anyone in sight.
