Carden Park Chester

Not recently. Which course the Nicklaus or the Cheshire?

Both are very good, I prefer the Cheshire more than the Nicklaus which is the more costly. The Nicklaus is a bit more "American", lots of water. The Cheshire is more British parkland with some great closing holes, especially the view on the 18th tee.

I really like Carden Park and always seem to play well there. I prefer the Cheshire Course out of the two but the Nicklaus is still a quality course. The 18th tee on the Cheshire is fantastic.

Played both twice and that is enough for me…

Not bad, but not great either. For a free round you can't complain mind.

I have quite a bit of time for the Cheshire, the only weak holes being the 4th & 5th, but as for the Nicklaus, jumped up American courses aren't my favourite for a start, and the Nicklaus is a poor example of one!

Played last year I really enjoyed the Cheshire course, interesting mix of holes.
It was blowing a gale when I played the Nicholas and I didn't play too well which can colour your impression of a course but I did like it. There are soe really good risk/reward shots which I particularly like.
Played a lovely 3 wood over the water onto the 17th green and just missed out on the eagle putt.

The main thing I found was that being able to shape tee shots comes in very hand on both courses.

Nicholas, NICHOLAS - the greatest golfer ever lived!!!! Nicklaus, my friend (not being pedantic, honest).

Impressive hitting the 17th in one though, a lot of corner to cut off, and to carry the bank and stay on.

Plop, plop the two times I've attempted it.
