i have booked my tee time of 12:20 monday 29th aug

so if anybody wants to join me for a free round post here

i am a bit rubbish but getting better every round!

Out of interest does everyone who plays with you at Carden Park have to be an AG card/ membership holder to qualify for the free game?

yeah the offer of a free round of golf at devere courses is in conjunction with americangolf you have to when booking a tee time give them the 16 digit number on the front of the club card you get when you first buy something in store

i joining a club that plays out of ellesmere port in the next cpl of weeks

Ellesmere Port GC now that is a blast from the past matey.

It must be 15+ years since I last played there.

Loads of good memories from that course

We will have to meet up sometime.

thats the one only stated playing a cpl of weeks ago and epgc is a 10min walk from my house so its ideal for me next cpl of months i should have a car sorted and venture out to other courses, and yeah deffo up for a round mate, like i said be good to watch a better player play the game!

Hope you enjoy it at Carden Park it's only a few miles down the road from me. Are you playing the Cheshire as it's a better course than the Nicklaus and the back 9 is one of the best and most scenic I've played.

I remember playing EPGC a few years ago........ some little git had left a smelly brown message down one of the cups... wonder if anyone tried to pick the ball out as I certainly didn't

yeah playing the cheshire course, really looking forward to it, and in the rounds i have played at epgc has been perfect no dirty surprises yet!

just played here on thursday and friday, cheshire and nicklaus.
The Cheshire is very dry and parched with the greens needing some care and attention.
The nicklaus is lush and cared for but the greens had alot of moss.
This cours has fairway and green sprinklers so its in good shape.
Onlt hting is you do need abuggy as there are some long walks between tees, £30 per round or £45 for double rounds.
Bit of a rip off as De Vere Herons Reach were £30 for double rounds.
Clubhouse was well good with the Golfers special at £8 and the large burgers and chips for the belly busters.
Drinks were cheaper here than the hotel but still expensive but the coffee was fresh and tasty.

played this course yesterday, and i played ok some awful some great shots by my standard!

i met kmdmr1 of the forum and his mate and enjoyed the round with them, good company and good golfers! sorry i let you down lol and sorry kmdmr1 for blading an approach and nearly nailing you in the side, you got some quick reflexes!!
