Very rare without a deposit Nick, most companies let you change the profile to suit right enough. If for example it states 6+35 months, you can normally ask for 3+35 months and pay more each month or else request 9+35 months, bigger deposit but lower monthly payments.

I have seen a few with 1 month deposit but rare

Do they take your car as a deposit?

Not as far as I know, you'd need to sell it privately or sell it to webuyanycar etc

Saw an advert on TV last night for the Volvo V40. £259 deposit and £259 per month. Not sure if that's a lease or purchase plan though.
