Anyone on here maybe able to help?

I looking at applying for a lease car thourhgwork (NHS Trust) and just wondering what things to look out for and maybe a recommendation of a car to take a look at.

Will be needing about 14,000 personal miles and 6-7,000 business. Hoping to get it for around the £150 per month mark or less.

Currently drive a Kia Rio and have thought about going for another one on the lease (wife will take over the current car) but was thinking of maybe looking at something a bit bigger for golf.

Currently considering:

Dacia Duster Laureate 2 wheel drive. Figured this is a cheap car so should be cheap lease as well although discounts aren't really available. Has a big boot and plenty of features.

Any other recommendations?

Forget personal and private mileage. As far as the lease company is concerned it is total mileage. In your position you need a car that will do 21,000 miles per year. Lease companies promote deals at 10,000 miles p/a so discount headline figures that you see. To get something at £150 per month with your mileage will be mighty impressive. You may have to increase that figure as it gives you very little to play with.

Cheap price does not always mean cheap lease as residual values come into it. If you buy a cheap car and it only holds 25% of its value after 3yrs then the lease costs will still be quite high to cover that loss.

Initial thoughts for cheap and can take golf clubs, try a Skoda Fabia estate. Good luck.
