think this is rediculous for a 32 year old with 14 years ncb....:temper:
 
Oddsocks, try Sainsburys Car insurance. Not the first place you would think of but I insured my Merc C220 with them a week ago and there were cheaper than the nearest competator by £200.

Worth obtaining a quote...

Ill take a sleeve of balls with the money you save.. haha

You insuring a ferrari or something!!?

We're with Churchill who are pretty reasonable, been with them a bit I think as they tend to match any better offers we can find.

AA are quite good. I looked on Go Compare aswell and got some good quotes.
 
I'd have to echo the "WTF do you drive?" sentiments!

I pay less than £400 a year Fully Comp for myself and HID on our 2.0L Mondeo Diesel with protected NCB and that's with Elephant.
 
Another echo if "WTF do you drive". I have a multi car policy with admiral that covers me (25 yrs old) and girlfriend (22 yrs old) on a 2l Clio and KA Sport that is just over £900.

Try admiral or elephant (same company but usually a different price).
 
tried all the compare sites, best im getting is 705.

drive a 2ltr mondeo, no claims since EVER...... and only have a ms60 on my licence so not exactly a dirty licence.

just tried an over 30 specialist.... £1425. :(

i coiuld understand if it was something special, but its a bloody mondeo,
 
I tend to use Admiral or elephant. I like Elephant, as you get letters from the head elephant, and in a childish way, I find it funny.

Ditto the what are you driving comments, as that does seem very expensive. Got a lot of tickets?

I gave up on Churchill a long time ago, they wanted a thatcham grade one installed on a car worth £300. I figured that if they were that stupid, I'd be better off going somewhere else.

If your car is a bit souped, Allen and Allen are your boys. Other wise known as Highperformance (or they used to be).
 
The insurance companies must know what an utter knob you are, they usually charge a premium for that ;) :D

Seems weird though. What model is it? Titanium? ST?

I've one of the new Mondeo titanium x and it's about £300 a year for me and the Mrs!

Is there a second driver on your quote? Sometimes brings them down.

Really can't understand why it's coming up so high?

£218 for me and that is with Hastings through a compare website.
 
Aztecs, the MS60 was for use of a mobile device while driving, which im assuming was associated to e because the doughnut muching lard arse couldnt be arsed to find the correct code, CU80.

The only saving grace is teh ms60 comes off my licence in june, meaning nexts years should be alot cheaper, the merrkats wanted 450 without the ms60, and 700 with it, bloody expensive call that over 5 years.

Not sure why teh premium is so high, i can only assume its because croydon was hit hard by the riots last year, so im guessing lots of claims have bumped policy prices.

the model is a standard 2ltr zetec... nothing special, my older st220 was cheaper to insure.:confused:

I got mine with LV it was the cheapest for me. But living in Manchester everyone is sky high. Never had a bump or points in 40 odd yrs of driving.
