Hello!

Can anyone recommend a good, smallish car with a boot suitable for carrying golf clubs? My fiesta is too small - I was thinking of something Focus sized if the boot is big enough, or maybe even a Jag X-Type. Anyone any recommendations/experiences?

Cheers,

Alan

Astra sxi sporthatch 1.6 57 reg 9000 miles in red would do you just fine.... as it happens I may be selling one. :D With 60/40 split rear seats, you would be surprised at how much you can get in. I often put 3 bags, 3 trolleys and 2 passengers in to go play! Bet you wouldn't think it to look at.
To be honest, aslong as you have folding seats you can go for pretty much anything. Unless you went for an estate or something like a saloon, your always gonna have to take your woods out of ya bag to fit em in the boot!

Gotta be a VW Passat. the boots are Massive!! i have 2 young children ( 2 & 4) and thought we were going to end up getting a people carrier type car because saloon cars just didnt have the space needed. we checked out allsorts. bmw 330, c class merc. and couldnt believe the amount of space the Passat has. plus its quite a nice drive also.. check one out, im sure you will be amazed

My cousin has a focus ST-2 and he fits 2 sets of clubs in the boot with the woods in, without putting the seats down. I have an Audi A3 and I have to either take the woods out of the bag or fold the seats down. Someobody on here recommended a passat, a friend of mine has one and its our golf car! the space in these things are great for golfers.

If you name a Passat I have had it, turbos, vr5's, v5's, 4 motions, TDI's I have had them all.

They are a really good seller for me and I like them to drive as does the mrs. Huge inside, look nice to me and ultra reliable.

Got a passat, it's my third one and the boot is made for all your golf gear. The boot is so big it will end up like your garage, full of junk. :)

Toyota Avensis - plenty of boot and no taking clubs out.
A little boring if you're into the driving but it won't let you down.

Something a bit smaller - have a look at the Toyota Corolla.

When I start looking for a new motor I'll be taking the clubs with me - if they won't fit without folding seats or taking clubs out then it's no good.
