Well today I had a nice days golf. Borrowed my parent car as they wanted me to fill up in the south with cheaper diesel so I happily obliged saving my car from the mileage and left them the keys.
Got back and instantly noticed the mark on my nice shiney black 2 month old Kia. Some "insert bannable words here" has obviously opened their door into mine and put a nice little dent in the rear passenger side door. Naturally neither of my parents noticed when out in the car as neither approached it from that side. Could have happened to me just a easy so no harsh feelings toward the folks (who helped me get the thing in the first place)
Now my question. Is this the type of thing easily repaired as a patch or would it require a full respray of the door. Paintwork around the ding has flaked of so the metal is exposed and will need done. As it's only 2 months old I'm not going to risk going DIY on it but just interested. Can't chase up anything till next week due to leaving for Scotland tomorrow morning.
