Never played it and never felt tempted to. Though everyone at work and all my friends seem to be unable to stop playing it like some sort of drug addiction.

Think I'll continue to give it a miss and save my sanity.

Plus, from what I heard, you can only play so far then you have to buy new levels....?

Like most of these new games if you want to progress fast (and without help from friends) then you can pay for the next levels/extra live's etc

Candy Crush relies on you coming back every so often to use your life (you can only stack up 5 at once, and they refresh one at a time every 30 mins), and the stop you from progressing every dozen or so levels (can't remember how many but its a fairy number later one when they levels are harder ). You can pay to get extra life's, you can pay to get thru the levels, but you can also receive lives from friends and you can get a pass from friends to get to the next set of levels too. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY THE GAME.

I'd never heard of it until a couple of days ago.

My lad told me to try it because it's so addictive, but apparently you need Facebook & friends so I'm oot.

Not on facebook either, again no intention of joining, I have a twitter account but very rarely tweet. I would much rather go out and speak to people like the good old days, than sit in the house getting fatter and unfitter.

**Edit just read what I typed, bloody hell I'm getting old.
