It's my birthday tomorrow and with the help of my 14.9 handicap, I'm hoping to shoot my (nett) age of 73. I've done it many times before of course and I'm still hoping that I can one day do it in gross. Can you shoot your age - gross?

88 is not a bad score for an 88 year-old golfer! Happy birthday, Dave. Seriously, it has been done lots of times by good players in their early 70s. Gary Player has probably shot his age more times than you and I have walked off a course happy.

I've beaten my age on both halves of our little course and The burnside a few times, (I'm 36) but the closest I've got on The Championship is 40. I should be able to do it in a year or two.
As for 18 holes, forget it.

Played in the Texas Scramble today, we had a gross 59. So if any of you are 59, it can be done :D. That was the winning score but only by one shot!!!

I'm 41 and the only way it'll happen is if i was to calculate my age as a dog !!!

41 x 7 = 287. Maybe I should play 54 in one day and see how close I can get....might need a few disasters though!
