Last week i played 18 Mon, 36 Tues, 18 wed & Thurs and 27 Friday. Played again today and gradually my game/score just seems to be getting worse. Playing again tomorrow but then for a change actually looking forward to not having a game for a week.

Also probably hit around 200 balls at the range in the last 10 days.

I am lucky that i am in a shift work job that allows me to play so much but i want my usual game back.

I suppose i am also still getting used to the X hot 2 driver which has caused a few dodgy scores i am not used to but even round the greens i am struggling.

Oh yes!

6 rounds in 9 days aged 61!

Today I hurt in places that arnt mine. 1 hour lesson booked tomorrow but swing felt better yesterday ( bar 3 holes )

I have 6 in 8 days this week - it always happens at this time of the year.

I'm fresh as a daisy, not played since 19th May :D

Although, been on several golf holidays in the last couple of years where I've played 9 rounds in 11 days and found that quite tiring.

I've done the Muscular Dystrophy 4 Course challenge last 2 years. 72 holes in 18 hours with 20-35min drives between each course leaves you not wanting to think about making a golf swing for a good few days!!

Stop swearing !!!

I play 6 times in 8 days most weeks and love it !

Played five rounds in Northern Ireland in five days, took Saturday off, went to the range on the Sunday then played every day from Monday to yesterday - including a match on Wednesday, our Seniors Open on Friday and mixed opens at Boat of Garten and Carrbridge - so 12 rounds of golf in 14 days.

Off to Alford in Aberdeenshire for their seniors tomorrow - the club where i was a member longest and where I had most of my decent scores - it's due to rain, but I still can't wait.

Yes I think you can. Yesterday was my 7th round this month! I feel physically drained and after a foursomes match tomorrow night I'm looking forward to not playing again until, well, Saturday I guess... Need a break!

Have the Beatles taken over the Calender or something?

My 'best' have been 5 rounds in 4 days (4 of them on the Open Rota) and 6 in 5 days (including Royal Aberdeen and 36 on The Old Course in a day). There have been times when I've played every day for a fortnight or more too! Kept me fit and consistent but didn't actually improve much!

I met some retired Yanks (50+ to late 60s from Seattle) who have been on an interesting tour!

Royals Liverpool, Birkdale, Lytham & St Annes; Woodhall Spa; Royal St Georges; Sunningdale Old/New, Walton Heath, Royal Porthcawl, Cinq Ports; Rye; Swinley Forest! Ferry-ed around by a Scot (named Jim of course!) from Eastwood!

Same here, I some times think I'm missing out on an opportunity to play if I have the time, I work shifts too. Especially if the weather is nice. I over play alot and suffer for it sometimes, a bad one just has to be rectified immediately... and rarely is. A few days off and all seems well again.

Our annual Scottish bash is usually 11 rounds in 6 days. 18h on sunday, and 36h Mon to Fri. Although with the youngest of us being 56 it's starting to get tiring. Might drop to 18 holes for a second day to the Sunday.

I have 10 comps/opens in the next 12 days and might have to squeeze a knockout match in as well.
The only problem I have with playing so often is that if develop a problem you don't have the time to work it out, you just have to make the best of it.

I think i am finding it so difficult is probably in the mind as not yet 100% confident with the driver and as I'm swinging it cant be good i am thinking of previous bad shots. I play off 11 but have had scores of 95 and 108 in my last two rounds would you believe with 5 off the tee twice which i don't think I've ever done and one of them was a par three.

Anyway tomorrow is a different day and time to relax it a bit.

when I finished uni I golfed for about a year and a half! yeah after a while I began to call it the office. it was a real slog at times.

I loved it
