Due to breakages on my Calaway and now Taylormade bag, I am up for a new one. Here is my ideal list of 'wants'

14 dividers
As light as possible, sub 4lbs would be good.
Plenty of pockets, including
- Waterproof pocket for valuables
- Holster for drink
Super comfortable straps.

I have seen the Nike Sasquatch bag, which I liked a lot ( plenty of pockets ), but found it heavy at 5.5lbs.

Thanks

I have the Nike Sasquatch in red from last year and don't find it too heavy unless I take about 40 balls out! The strap is exceptionally comfortable, so I don't feel the weight.

I really like the look of the Silver/blue one they are doing this year too.

However, must say that the dividers don't quite reach the edges inside the bag and therefore some clubs can be susceptible to sneaking past into another section, making the clubs stick a little on occasion when pulling them out of the bag. Other than that (and its a small issue), I would recommend one to anyone else.

I can't recommend one but I can recommend you shouldn't get:

A Callaway Warbird-Hot. I was lured by the flashy prettiness of the bag (like a moth to a flame) but within 2 weeks the legs broke, completely on their own accord as I put down the bag. Although it had a warranty the whole hassle was very annoying! A friend of mine has the exactr same bag, which did the exact same thing!

Can I just ask why you want 14 compartments? I was always under the impression they were a bit naff, but I could well be misguided x

Sure, no problem........

Firstly, I like order. I like to keep my clubs in the same slots. This may be a Virgo trait, I dont know, but I like it !!

Also, I've been using the Nike Sasquatch bag on loan and it seems to cut down on the noise of the clubs clattering against each other as I walk along.

I'm not sure why it's naff, I have certainly not heard that before. But if it is, I'll live with naffness in this part of my life :)

sun mountain 4.5lb with all your requests at about £130 check their website to see it.

Thanks, looks like a solid contender, the reviews are excellent. Seems to be £109.99 at most places.

What I did not realise, and this may not be true, but it appears they make bags for Titleist.

I've just bought the Mizuno twister stand bag. JJB Sports (yeah, I know !!) have them reduced from £79.99 to £39.50. Only has a 7 way divider but meets most of your other requirements. Good little carry bag, I prefer my Srixon 'shark bite' tour bag tho'.

The best you could get was the Ping Hoofer Original but not sure if you'll get any now.

New model out but don't think it's as good as the original. believe Ping know this and have stopped making their bags of such quality as nobody has to renew their original hoofer.

I just got the Taylor Made, Mag F1 edition, so far, i love it! looks good, comfortable, light, Plenty pockets, 8 way divider, Does everything i wanted. Only paid £69 aswell. IDEAL

I would have thought that the 14-way divider would give you better weight distribution.

Never having carried I can't say that with any certainty, however I plan (g knows why) on carrying (a borrowed bag) today.
This I should say is long range preparation for next years society 'international' long-weekend outing to Scotland (hence flying not driving).
I have not turned to the darkside permanently - the leccy trolley remains supreme.

I think they make bags for a lot of the major brands. Used mine for the first time today quality product and the 14- way divider excellant.

Can anyone recommend me a stand bag. Light with decent amount of pockets and not so concerned with so many dividers?

Thanks
