Regarding this serial number on a Callaway 5 wood. Specifically the two letters at the base:

Was an initial thought.

I'm sure someone was selling some Calllaway gear on hear a whlie back with similar markings by the serial number but can't, 100%, remember what they said they meant.

Ring up Callaway customer service and ask them about it? Ping and Mizuno are happy to tell you the background of stuff. Not sure mind how happy they would be to chat about stuff potentially off the tour van.

You can tell too. The head is noticeably heavier than my 3 wood (Same model).
