Really noticed this year I am probably 30 yards behind most guys I play with despite only being 1 iron shorter.
I remember being a lot longer with the burner 09 which is a lightweight driver, now I know I am in a lot worse shape a 5 years older now but really! Can lightweight drivers help this? Btw I am getting back in shape this year.

You can swing lighter clubs faster, but they transfer less energy to the ball, so the jury is out on that one. I used to have a TM Burner 09 and loved it. Unfortunately my clubs got nicked out of my car one night and I couldn't replace it. I put it on a swing weight machine once and found it actually had quite a high swing weight, something like D7 from memory, although it didn't feel that heavy. I couldn't get on at all with the next generation of TM drivers for some reason, so I used a Callaway Diablo Octane driver for a while. Now have a TM R1 which if anything performs better than the 09.

09 burner has a LONG shaft too. You G15 is most likely shorter.

I'm pretty sure my buddy has my old mint 09 burner sat in the corner of his study if you want one. I remember it being long and wild!
