Just after a bit of advice please. Me and a few other forum members have a titleist ball fitting, stay over and 18 holes on the Brabazon this Thursday and I need to know about dress codes for the clubhouse and hotel bar and restaurant.

My club is very relaxed and allow jeans and trainers but I'm guessing a club of the Belfry's stature will be a little more traditional? Foot wear mainly my issue so want to sort it early.

I'm also guessing that there is a very well stocked Pro Shop. I'm not going to get a chance to pick up some "essentials" so am probably just going to wait until I'm there

Cheers, Kev

Not a member so cant say about dress codes, but have been to the Pro Shop there on many occasions and it is the best on course golf shop I have ever been in, you name it whatever you can possibly need it is in there

I rarely use the main bar but I'm sure jeans are allowed, you will be surprised that the club is actually very relaxed compared to most GC and was a shock to me also.

I'm playing today so ill check the bar dress code.

Thinking about it, one of my mates was leaving the gym in a track suit the other day and going into the clubhouse for food and drink so I think jeans will be fine.

When I played it about 10 years ago the dress code was very relaxed in the clubhouse.
The hotel restaurant was was more formal, I would have felt uncomfortable without a jacket.

there's no dress code in the bar mate its very relaxed. the resturant doesn't either but you wont see many people wearing jeans and trainers. you might stand out a bit if you go propa casual

oh yeh and sorry to say they sanded and tined the green last weeks. the holes are pretty much filled over but still alot of sand

Pro shop, well stocked but friggin expensive - bar, smart casual so give the Reebok's a miss

Clothing in pro' shop is expensive due to the brands stocked but for clubs etc; prices are usually better than AG & others.

The belfry have been the cheapest for my i20's and anser driver by quite alot. How ever they do give it you dry on the cost of cloths and balls
