This is one for the GM towers... I am assuming that staff get down to trailing a lot of kit at various GM days or free fittings or testing days.

1) What happens to the kit after that... does it go to the GM tower basement
2) Are you tempted to swap out your kit when you get your hands on some magic stick?
3) How long (on an avg) have the staff had their sticks
4) What are your favorite sticks that you will trade in..
5) Who can give Homer a run for the highest number of shoes? (Homer was 19 before xmas, so must be 25 right now)

1) Normally it's sent back to the manufacturers so they can pass it on to other mags to test, the only kit we don't send back is stuff we're custom fit for, as this is the stuff that tends to go in our bags
2) We're the same as you, if it works it goes in, if it doesn't it stays out
3) The guys most involved with gear (Paul, Neil, Mike and I) probably change something annually at the minimum
4) If they're our favourite, we're not trading them in!
5) I reckon Paul could rival Homer's 25 comfortably, his FJ collection alone must be over a dozen!

I smell a lack of confidence for winning the Benross thing...

Mate do you think we have a chance against the young brigade who live & breathe Facebook? wait for them to come back from hols and ring in the likes.. Not holding my breath on that one yet.

Just the begging bowl missing

Oye.. this was a genuine and curiou question rather than a fishing expedition... looks like you can spin to everything these days.. The question came to my mind because i saw MikeH hitting some balls at the Titelist day...

... in my line of work, i end up with a lot of corporate memorabilia that just gets chucked away. Another friend is a food scientist, and it is not funny to see how work she brings home.. I was assuming that it is the perks/perils of the job. Anyways, this got mangled beyond my thought but kudos to Jake O'R for a proper answer.

Is it just me or there seems to be a general lack of fitting oops for sticks these days. There have been opps for other kit (and we are all grateful for it) but haven't seen many for new irons..
I m having an itch, but the house move means I can't justify any new sticks and may not renew membership this year..

You don't happen to work for Durex do you????

It does feel like that on some days..

I knew this would come to bite me.. it was a very boring day. It did inject some activity on the forum... But of the 2K odd posts, this one hits me OB!!!

Hehe that was a fun read. The only perk I get in my job is the deluge of dust and mud I get to take home to put in the washing machine or down the plughole.

Still just the 19 pairs of shoes. Got my eyes on some funky green and black myjoys but need the time to tweak the design and mail it to my pro for a quote. Got a real pair of wowsers planned for this summer. Loud! Very loud!
