Have a mate who works for Callaway and got to see there new kit for next year. Have to admit some of it was very nice and i am not usually a big Callaway fan.

As mentioned previously on this site the Diablo Octane Driver is very sexy assuming i can hit it better than my current driver and find the moeny it will definately be in the bag. Comes with multi compund grip and project x shaft all as standard!

However main thing that caught my eye was the razr x tour irons. I felt the non tour irons were a little chunky for my eye but the tour x sat behind the ball really nice. Also had a look at the razr x forged which were lovely but too much of a players club for me. These irons have more grooves than the other razr offerings and for me it gave the appearance the club was more lofted.

The last thing he showed me was the new odyssey limited edition putter which is based on micklesons putter. Think he said there would be 2500 in europe. Very nice looking putter and a sexy headcover to match.

Will be interested to see how they all sell but think the diablo octane driver could be one of the best selling drivers next year.

Not had a hit yet but will do soon.

The diablo octane stuff is out now and the razr hawk will be out for February.

Also meant to say the Razr Hawk hybrid has a pretty interesting design where the bottom edge of the club has a pretty big curve from toe to heel cannot remember what he called it but it is to allow you to hit out of any lie. Apparently he has had people hitting it out of the tee holes in artificial mats to show its effectiveness.
