Has anybody seen or heard of the new callaway technolgy coming out soon, where by you can change the shaft in your driver by yourself.

I have heard that titleist will be launching a system where you can change shaft with a twist lock but that is only for demonstration purposes so people can be fitted quicker!
I dont know of any retailed clubs where you can do this.

Callaway have had this type of system in place for their fitting, I think it's called the Opti-fit system.

I don't know if they were waiting for a change in the rules before introducing it for the golfing public. I'm sure there was something introduced into the rules this year allowing these types of clubs to be played.

Or I may be talking pish!!!!!

This quick release shaft idea worries me.

Reason being that surely as it is easily removable, there may be a degree of play between the shaft and fixings.

Bunkered is crap. IMO. I only read it at work because there are always loads of them lying around.

Titleist wouldnt dream of using a system if it was less than 100% spot on
