Callaway X hot

Just wondered if anyone is using the X Hot driver and or hybrid ?

If yes, how you getting on with it .. should we believe the hype re the face etc ?

I have the driver, really good club when you catch it out of the middle it really fly's and it is very forgiving on off center hits. I think it has a very slightly longer shaft than some other drivers so I guess this must help a little.

Have not tried the woods or hybrid

I tried the 3 wood and boy it was long hitting 278 yards if i had the cash i would have bought it

The fairway woods are awesome, much the same as the RBZ technology I assume although I've never hit one.

The driver didn't work for me at all, and the hybrid was only a little shorter than my Titleist.

have a full set of x hots, i hit my 3 wood as far as most people hit there driver, and the irons also have a great feel, i doubt you can really go wrong with all the new drivers and woods available

yeah maybe, but i have played with 5 handicap players and hit just as far as them

Tried the driver yesterday. Lovely club but flew way too high. Be nice to try with a better shaft.

I have a full set of X Hot, irons and woods, love them especially the driver and hybrid, great feel and distance, so no complaints at all, go for it, but get them custom fitted.

I've played with 5 handicappers who I hit it further than, and I'm not a big hitter.

I see Callaway have taken a leaf out of TMs marketing book with the X-Hot. "Hit your 7i where you used to hit your 6" Well, I should think so since the X-Hot 7i is 1' stronger than my AP2 6i

I am hitting the driver further than I have any other driver (shaft cut to 44.5 too). Probably down to the shaft being good for me. Was only £25 upgrade. I have now sold all my other drivers I had lying around.

I have the 3 wood in the same shaft and playing it the same length as my old G25 3 wood. The xhot is longer off tee (15 yards or so) and about the same off the deck unless conditions are firm where the xhot will roll out more.

can't comment on hybrid sorry as I sold that without trying it as I prefer to use a strong 3 iron instead.
