I've seen a good offer from a website on this driver and seen some good reviews,so looking to change my ping i20 driver and has anyone had a go of the x hot?

Spins too much for me, and hence launches too high. Launches long though, still have it, but probably won't go back in the bag unless I can manage to chnage my swing enough to reduce spin.

I had a couple of goes with one and found the same. Went stupidly high for me.

Ive got the X hot pro with the project X 6.0 PXV shaft. spins way less than anything else i tried and was also longer than any other driver i tried.

Played yesterday in 40MPH gusts and quite a few times i outdrove my mate off 3 who hits a long ball with a TM RB and another guy using a Titiest 913..

Very happy with it, both com how well it flew.

I bought mine cheap off ebay so dont know about spin etc but I can tell you it goes straighter and further a d is more consistent than my r11s ever was so I love mine

Had a go of one during an AG Truck event and fitted by a Callaway rep. Lovely club, had me driving straighter and longer than my at-the-time driver. Did launch quite high though, and I couldn't justify the price - or rather, I couldn't justify the price to the wife - enough to buy one. :D

Not getting on with the i20?

Tried it up against an RBZ and that was 3100 rpm so cant be a swing issue, have tried it a few times and just don't get on with it.

7000 is an awful lot of spin for a driver. I can't imagine what weighting or materials they would use to create that amount of spin. I suspect the main cause is the organic blob on the end of the club.

There must be some hitting down involved, and the shaft and loft of the Cally you tried were probably not optimal.

The organic blob is swinging nicely just now thanks, it was a 10.5 standard stiff shaft, just didn't get on with it which is a pity as it sit and looks nice.

Got the ax Hot Pro and it is a great club, very happy with it and, hitting against an i20, was much more consistent and pretty long aswell.
