Ive used AD333 for years now but I've had one of these on the go for a couple of rounds and I'm pretty impressed tbh. Even more impressed that I haven't managed to lose it yet.

It seems to just effortlessly fly of the face and feels great around the greens, my only gripe is it maybe feels a bit fiery off the putter face although I'm not quite sure at the moment.

All in all They feel as good as good as anything else I've tried and at £17.99 for 12 they seem a steal.

Is anyone else using them at the moment? Or tried and didn't like? Any opinions good or bad Appreciated..

I tried a sleeve of them and was impressed. Like you I found the "flew" off the putter face but I think that was more a perception than reality. I say this as the sound is so different to the AD333 Tours I was playing before. The only issue I have with them is the lack of spin.

I have also tried the new Callaway Chrome Soft, very similar ball but does have the spin I am looking for.

I've noticed Callaway are getting very bullish about the new Chrome soft with Big Phil saying it's the best thing since sliced bread. Then again Callaway seem to be aggressively marketing the hell out of anything nowadays, so you don't know how much is hype.

I think the middle area is the big area for golf balls to take off, balls which kind of give you softness and tour levels of spin (allegedly) but you are not paying for the top of the range tour ball that a lot of amateurs just will not use to its full extent. So AD333 Tours, TM Project As and these new Chrome Soft seem to be in that category. I have used the Project As plus 333 Tours and really liked them. So as soon as they come down in price when the next version will be released I'll pile in.

And you can get the supersofts for 15 notes from here http://golfdepot.co.uk/category/balls/2/16/ I know this company has a bit of a reputation, but I've had a few lots of balls from them with no problems whatsoever.

I used some of these last winter ( well i found two anyway) very soft off the putter and good distance, my mate off 2 tried one and liked them so much he used those in comps last year.

never played with them but do like the ad333! However I was given a box of Dunlop tour for xmas and I am very surprised how good they are. They are supposed to be comparable to the RZN and AD 333's !

I am using them during winter mainly because they are cheap and not to bothered if I lose a few. has anyone else tried them?

Thanks for the replies folks.
I think I'm going to give these a shot for a while. I love the feel and they're Definately giving extra distance, it's just the feel off the putter that's a bit different.
If I can get over that then they'll be going in the bag.

How much extra distance are they giving you?

I'm using AD333Tours at the moment while the greens are soft, they seem to be a pretty good winter ball.

I seemed to be hitting roughly my summer yardages yesterday, its a bit of tough one to call as to how much extra but the ball seemed to be just flying off the club face.
Played Formby ladies so I had a lot of 80-90 yard approaches and the feel was just fantastic. 7iron though was pushing 160 which is long for me at this time of the year.

I used them for a bit last summer, really nice ball that does feel really soft off the face and also didn't seem to scuff up much at all considering how soft they feel.

I've used nothing else since they came out last year. I think they are a great ball and a great price. I still have box's of Pro V s 1 that I haven't touched.

I have been using this for a little while and I also like them for distance and feel of the club, they seem to stop nicely for me around the green. They do feel different off the putter but when I switched to a ProV1 provisional putting with this was just, after using the Supersoft, felt just as strange. Much prefer the SS now

Got a real issue with Callaway balls and all feel really clicky off the putter. It may just be perception but it's enough to have put me off them and will take a lot to convince me to use them again over the likes of AD333 tour at this time of year or Bridegstone B330RXS in the summer

Try one, I think you will be surprised.

Theres nothing clicky about these, the total opposite in fact. As TXL says.. Give them a go, they've certainly surprised me.

I always had the same impression as you until i used the Callaway Hex Black.

Best ball i've ever used.
