Callaway service!

I took the head off my Callaway driver to change the settings for someone to try and found that two cogs of the adjustment mechanism were broken but still held securely in place. I rang Callaway at Leatherhead this morning and spoke to customer services who were very helpful,as you would expect, and just received an email confirming that the replacement parts are being posted today.

Great service and customer care are not things of the past with Callaway

I guess your name came up on their database as being a (very) repeat customer recently :D
 
I'm starting to the that Callaways build quality isn't the best.
My mate recently had to return his XR irons because the heads come off 2 of them.
His XR Driver head developed a rattle.
 
Same happened with my X Hot. Took it to Chessington, and they fixed it while I waited. Also had a carry bag that broke and got a replacement within a week. Callaway are awesome.

A month or so ago a friend of mine had to return his entire set of irons as they'd forgotten to put the tip weights in. He's now playing with Mizuno irons.

My friend is not happy with the build quality of his G30s as the shaft snapped on his driver so he's blaming Ping for that...had nothing to do with him throwing a tantrum and smashing a wedge into the bag...!! :thup:

My mate hadn't even had a round with with the irons,it happened at the range.
He returned them to the Pro at his course,whilst waiting for them to be sorted the driver started rattling so he asked for a refund as he had no confidence in them.
His previous irons were Callaway that he'd owned for about 8years.
