beggsy - i was custom fitted as well and hit it great down at the custom fit session - but i just have no consistency with it - don`t get me wrong - when i hit it -it goes a long way ,but when i get a bad one it `s costing me high numbers -cause the roughs up here in st.andrews - even thought about going to a regular shaft with it

I've always used stiff shafts in my woods, and have been custom fitted for stiff shafts in the past. Bumped into an old friend (a teaching pro) at the range the other night, he watched me take a couple of swings and suggested I try a regular shaft, which produced more consistent, stronger and longer flight!!Think these custom fitting machines may not be the 100% answer people think they are
