I just bought an adjustable one off eBay for £40, looks in good nick.

Is this a good deal? It was a bit of an impulse buy to be honest.

I had one but found it too light, I think this is how they get the distance up, lighter so faster swing speed. it had project x shaft in it and I did not get on with it, no where near as accurate as my FTIZ!

It's a good driver. Give it a rip, you could yet be impressed. Is it right for you? Only you can tell!

I've been looking for a new one as the one I have is quite old and worn now. It has a stiff shaft which is different from what I normally use, but my irons and hybrids are stiff and they suit me so hopefully this does as well.

It's a motore f1 shaft btw.

If its a stiff F1 then I hope you like your weetabix.
It takes some effort to get it moving. Had a Cobra ZL encore with the Motor F1 and git rid as it was too hard to work it.

Yes ive had one for a while. Found the stock Stiff Aldila Rip'd NV shaft to be very poor. Performed much better with a better shaft in it. Its a nice driver and a very good for £40 considering these were £300 about 2 years ago. I read someone put the razr fit xtreme shaft in it and it was one of the best drivers he had ever hit.

I game one, yet to hit a modern driver that can out hit it for distance and accuracy! I play a Blueboard shaft in it and have the full RFX weight kit to play around with!
Is a bomber for me!

So I went and picked this up today, cracking looking driver btw, but I'm not too sure about all the settings on it, if somebody could help me out.

It has 3 hosel settings - square, open and closed. And weights in the sole a 2g and a 12g.

What exactly do these settings do?

Am I right in thinking that the only adjustments I can make are to the face, to help with a slice?

I was thinking that I could adjust the loft in it but it looks as if it's just an 8.5 degree driver.

i play a razr fit xtreme, i recently compared it on a launch monitor, it, for me, out performed everything, i wouldnt get rid, 40 for the 1st one is a bargain, i think you'll be plesently surprised
