I see Callaway Phil used one last weekend to good effect. Notice there's a new advert on the Telebox for it too.

Anyone seen/tried one yet, Have they hit the shops yet? I guess they'll cost an arm and leg like the ft Tour & Razr hawk tour did.

I see it's featured on page 106-107 in the March edition of the mag & POH done a nice little review Here...

Phil, Sam and mylself got to hit it a bit in December there in Wentworth, we compared it with the new Cobra and Nike VRS drivers. For my money I would rather have the Nike as it was straighter with a nicer flight and a little longer. All stiff shafts and 9-10 degrees. Not conclusive by any stretch but the Nike stood out amongst the three, none were as nice as the R11S though. ;)

I hit it back in november at a pre release preview night at the range i work at, very nice club, its quite a traditional look which suits my eye, the adjustability is very simple, 3 face angles and 2 weights in the heel and toe to promote either a draw or fade... there was another demo day at the range yesterday and I would have hit the whole range if i hadn't forgotten to book :( the retail price is £329 so its competing directly with the likes of the R11s, and my pro/boss said that they should have left the factory by today so I imagine they'll be hitting the shops within the next few days :)

i haven't had the chance to hit it yet but according to most the razr hawk was one of the best and as long as any so this should be good.

it worked for phil.....and his driving can leave a lot to be desired most of the time.

Haven't had a Callaway driver since my Bigbertha one about 7 years ago but am very interested in this one. The interesting bit is the bumph they've come out with about other adjustable drivers not having the same balance throughout the different settings. Looks like I'll be trying to sell my current one to bring the price down as best price I've seen is £300.00.

My pro said they didn't release one earlier because they wanted to make an adjustable driver without having to add weight, obviously now they have forged composite and all that which makes it light hence why they took so long to get into the adjustable market

Tried one Friday last. Liked the shape of the head and sound at impact. Didnt warm to the stock shaft, even the pro said all these £300+ drivers are coming with cheap shafts otherwise it would be a £500 driver.

A shaft fitting then try the head with the appropriate shaft is the way to go, difficult to do at most places unfortunatley.

Hit it Thursday back to back against the d3, i20 and r11s. Hard to gauge a true impression as it was the only one that had face tape, but the stock d'nv shaft was very nice. Should get a true reflection Monday although I've heard good stuff about the Nike ltd edition.

My pro just got the new nike stuff in so i may give it go as it does look very nice, although the traditional look of the Razr Fit is still what I prefer

Mark Crossfield reviewed the nike ltd, he liked it that much I think he now uses it in his bag
