I've been using this glove now for around a year and a half, maybe two years and a couple of weeks ago i found around 10 old gloves in the back pocket of the bag. Now I can't fault this glove for its performance, but it really isnt durable. I find after maybe 4-5 rounds im getting another one because the grip isn't there and keeping the other one for practicing with. I didnt realise how many of them i had haha!

At 14 quid a pop this isnt a cheap exercise and was wondering what other people thoughts are about rival products? I've heard similar stories about the mizuno glove, and ive notices that srixon do a leather glove for around half the price of the pro series, anyone used them??

cheers for any thought.

i would use footjoys a couple of years ago before the callaway so havent tried the new gloves, maybe i will get one next week sometime, its tempting just to get another pro-series as i know how good they are when they are brand new, but everytime i get a new one im thinking about how long it will last!

I have just started using the Srixon Cabretta and can not knock it, I always used Srixon All weather gloves before which are great so bought a couple of new ones for wet days just in case, but the Srixon Cabretta is great and on ebay about £15 for three with free p+p.

Again, and I keep mentioning this, if you are near a Decathlon store try and Inesis TD Tour glove. Great cabretta leather glove and the last one I bought cost £3.95. These stores really are a great source of cheap but quality gof kit.

I couldn't comment on pro series, but I have a regular synthetic Callaway all weather and it's had it after only a few rounds and 6 range trips. Shan't be buying another one.
Callaway....shame on you....

Have a Mizuno exo-flex as recommended by Madandra.....good glove.....just wish I'd had an old dunlop one in the boot at the time, as AG were doing a "trade in" deal £2 off...

like they can do something with you old glove.....????

whatever next.... trade in your old pinnacle found-in-the rough balls and get £4 off some new Titleists.....really, AG, sort it out!!!!

Horses for courses. Kasco are doing a top quality premium cabretta leather glove for approximately £15. My pro reckons they are the softest best gripping leather glove on the market (he's independant and not got any loyalty to Kasco). Have to say tried one on and they are very good.

Thats said I am a big fan of the Sci flex and being a bit of a poseur on the quiet have got several in different colours to be colour co-ordinated for the new season.

Of the synthetic ones, I found the Callaway Warbird pretty good. Footjoy use to do one with a leather bit on the palm and they are also pretty good although they did tend to stretch a bit.
