They look nice but its how they play looks are nothing if the club doesnt play well would like to have a go of these beauties.

Wise words mono! I don't think they look as good as the current X series and prefer either the TM TP model or the current Vokey design

Perhaps someone could explain this to me. Why the thicker top section. Personally I don't like the look of them.

It's because like most Callaways they are shovels.

They look pretty nice.
I like the sole grind they got going there but not enough for me to change my trusty Vokeys
Maybe there is a bulge at the top for when you catch the ball higher in the face there will be some meat behind it so it does not come off dead

Are they going to be all upright and yucky like the last goodness knows how many of their wedges?
Here's how it works with an upright wedge. You set up to the ball, it doesn't sit well at all, so you nudge closer.
