I've used them before, perform perfectly well.
Feel a bit harder/clicker than the Hex Black (think that's the right name).
Similar to a Z Star XV IMO if you've ever used them?

Why? whats makes this better than the plus? from what ive read its for slower swing speeds whereas the plus is for higher swing speeds - is this not correct?
Not a fan of Cally balls. Too hard off the putter and with the wedges for my taste but good quality balls and if you get them at a good price and can handle the firm feeling then why not?

Not in my experience, the Hex black is the softest feeling Callaway ball I've played, I really like it.
Chrome plus a bit clicker.

Cant go wrong with either really, especially at that price.

My current ball of choice and played the same ball for a gross 76 today.
Long like an NXT, doesn't click off the putter and stops like a Pro V. Cover holds up well to scuffs too. I've played the same ball now for 36 holes and it doesn't look like a dog has chewed it.
I found the hex black away too clicky, the hex chrome was just nice. Chrome+ is my favorite ball at the moment.
And at £15 a dozen, not a bad price.

I prefer the the Hex Chrome as its a softer feeling ball. The plus and black seem too clicky off the putter for me.

I think the newer Callaway balls are a much better than the previous incarnations. I've used the Hex Hot, Hex Chrome, + and std Chrome, they are all good balls. They may feel firm but they are definitely not a hard ball as you can feel the ball compress and they give good feel when putting.

Not as Spinny as ProVs etc but still pretty good. Might be a good winter ball for you.
If I didn't have buckets of balls lying around I'd possibly get some myself.

Found one of these the other day and put it into play. I've now played 2.5 rounds with it which is a bloody miracle!! May buy a dozen just to see if the magic lasts!
