Hello, I am looking to buy a new driver, I currently have a Taylormade R7 460 but am looking to replace it, I am interested in the Callaway FT-i or the new Taylormade CGb Max. Do you have any reccomendations or review?
Thankyou

Neither for me mate, sorry.

If you like taylor made I would go for the superquad.

I have hit the FTi and didn't like it one bit, just like the nike sumo sq.

Others I would recommend would be the Titleist 907D1 or the Cobra LD series driver.

What are you looking for in a driver, is it power you seek, workability, forgiveness?

Welcome to the forum btw, there are many great guys on here who will offer excellent advice.

You cant go too wrong with cobra drivers. Plus the New Titleist range offer choice for all types of golfer.!
Also the Ping G5 or G10 are good for length and forgivness.

I went to Ping for the new G10 nad ended up getting the Rapture in 12 degree!

Try and get fitted somewhere as the results will shock you!

I play off of 4 and I would never in a million years have considered buying a driver with 12 degrees loft. I have never hit a driver so well or so far!!!!

Its all to do with launch angle, dispersion, shaft kick points etc etc,

Some sport shops offer advice, but I know the likes of Wilson, Mizuno, Ping etc all custom fit for nowt!
