Anyone tried these?

My boss has just given me a set! I've never really got on with hybrids, but he reckons they are brilliant? Anyone else play with them?

I've tried these on a range and to be honest I hooked quite a bit. Even with different shafts. I think the face may be a tad closed at address to help suare the club. This didn't help me. I tried the tour version that was a little better. Maybe I just couldn't get a shaft that worked.

To be honest, if you can use them you won't find much better in the quality stakes. Practice is the answer. Don't just hit a dozen balls and think you can't use them. Persevere.

I agree with Imurg, I have been through so many hybrids the last year, I got the Cobra DWS and started slicing it!! but with a little bit of amendments to my grip and more power in the swing it so far has/is giving a beautful ball flight of about 210 with a slight draw, but I feel to get full distance with hybrids you have to give that little bit extra, well I do not sure about anyone else.

They look an ok club. If you type Cally FT hybrid into a search engine and look at somewhere like AG etc it is actually descrived as a draw club which would indicate a closed face and why Imurg was hooking it.

Stick with them and see how you go. If they were freebies off the boss you can always sell them on
