Just picked up a 52 & 58 in copper

Not had a chance to try them out yet but just looking or some opinions on anyone that's tried them, I know it's a personal thing but fancied a change from my Cleveland CG15 and to space my wedges out properly

Got to admit they do look pretty awesome and can't wait to get thm out on the course and a plus is I believe it was roger Cleveland that designed them too

So any users current or previous with any opinions as to whether I've been a fool and taken in by some shiny shiny issues?

Find Cally wedges rather heav to swing. Prefer the feel of Cleveland or Vokey but I do think Callaway make good looking wedges. They sit beautifully behind the ball but as I say I to heavy for me

Love my cally wedges. As above, they tend to be a bit heavier. I've got MD grooved Jaws 52,56 & 60. Thankfully after 6 months of golf the grooves have lost some bight but still spin a lot.

Not a fan of vokeys and I hate to say it but the ping wedges are fugly.

I did notice they feel slightly heavier but don't think that should be a problem

Just hoping they don't chew the golf ball up too much as I know the previous MD wedges were renowned for that

The 58 seems like it should be really easy to open the face up too

H'mm

Advantages to each process (Casting/Forging).

Japan market does prefer Forged, so they/he's catered for it with the forged version. Probably has a lot to do with the requirement, with forgings, to have significant manual finishing work - so some artisan element. Castings require very little/much less manual finishing work. For a product (wedge) that is likely to be further modified by personalised grind, factory artisan work is irrelevant for me.
