Callaway drivers - 24 in 5 years !

TM always in the firing line for constant new releases.

24 Callaway drivers in 60 months is crazy, are we all that gullible it justifies this amount 🤔

Only if you buy 'em.....

Just out of interest...Golfbidder currently list 33 TM drivers with a release date from 2012....
Just sayin.....

I think it's fair to say that they both release clubs on a regular basis - but only TM get the bad rep

At the end of the day no one is forced to buy a new driver when it comes our

I see Rick Shield is doing a head to head on the last 5 years offerings.
Bet this throws up some surprises !

I bet it doesn't....I reckon the results will be very similar. Only so much you can do to a Driver head within the rules of the game!

I guess that will be the surprising part to a lot of people- Will the Epic be further than the equivalent 5 years ago when struck out of the middle? I highly doubt it. Off center hits there may be a bit of difference. Will be interesting to see

lots of people were claiming the epic was the best for them number wise

wonder if thats because its one of the few drivers that did an option for a shorter shaft as standard and that in turn produced the best results

I see more people on here whinging about TM getting stick, than people actually giving TM stick 🤔

At my new club there seems to be a ridiculous number of members with the pretty new Callaway Big Bertha drivers. I think one bought one, liked it, told others etc. Never seen to many of one type of driver at a place. Not seen an Epic yet but that may be cost driven. 24 in 5 yrs is crazy.

Does seem quite popular, I've seen a few guys at my club with the Great Big Bertha. Surprises me, I HATED that driver. Did a demo day a while ago and loved the XR, moved over to the Big Bertha with the same shaft and then few others and could hardly hit it, was weird.

Seen 1 guy with an Epic at our club so far, plays off 21, the £440 spent hasn't helped his driving.

I've seen lots at my club also, can't say I've seen any hit any different or longer from what they had before, although as always, they say they've been booming it but there having a bad day 😜

It's interesting that Callaway bring out so many and there is less protestation. I wonder if that's because not all of them get the full fanfare and pomp a TM release does. I'll be interested to see the results. Off centre I can see there being progress, and I wonder how comparative the shafts will be for the test and how these have changed in the last five years

I should imagine the latest one, based on the hype-standard of 5 yard increments (new model on new model) must hit the ball at least 125 yards farther than the first one did.
