I know a lot of people on the forum hate this club, and I must admit, the first time I demo'd it, couldn't get over the looks. Having said that, the club flat out performed for me.

Does anyway have any info on when\if Callaway are going to release the your version in the UK, and if so, any idea on release dates?

Thanks
Lee

Hi Lee,

We've just had a quick discussion in the office about this and as far as we know the 'Tour' version is just the neutral set up they offer. This is out now and sits alongside the draw version.

We also quite liked the neutral version.

They have done that with the fairway wood. Tour is neutral draw is normal but with different lofts. Personally i like these clubs they took some getting used to but perform well. Probably swap my FT-5 for one later this year. Already using the 3 wood which performs very well. 5 wood or hybrid next on the list for demo and possible purchase.

I know people aren't sure about the looks of the clubs but i think the new Diablo tour bag is one of the best looking for a while.

Why do manufacturers do this? Can’t we just get a neutral model first off, as standard. Then if you want a draw model then fine. TM done this with the burner driver a while back….to get the neutral model you had to pay extra for the TP version and they lost a sale through that. Why do they do this, other than costing you more money just for the way it sits…………….come on you guys a GM towers, got on the blower and sort em out....it's a rip off.

The Callaway Diablo neutral and draw models both come in at the same price (rrp £239). The FT-iQ and FT-9 both have Tour versions which are more expensive but this is mainly due to the more expensive shaft.

Also, so I've read, you can buy it with any shaft (White Board, Blue Board, Rombax etc..) that Callway offer, at no extra cost.

As Neil mentioned though, it is more expensive than the non tour version.

My understanding of the Callaway range is that none of them actually sit square!

The draw is obviously closed. The neutral I believe sits 0.5 degrees open and the tour model sits 1 degree open.
