Callaway customer Service

I have just come back after a round at my local club where a large crack appeared in the sole of my driver on the 13th tee. I have only used the callaway fti for about 5 months and i am amazed at how this happened. Im going to ring customer services on monday ( i dont think they will be open at weekends), has anyone else ever had to contact them before?

In my experience they are brill, I lost my putter headcover. I phoned Callaway and asked where I could buy another. Two days later one turned up free of charge with Callaway's compliments. First class customer service.

This is what I posted last year regarding Callaway Customer Services

When I started back playing I bought a secondhand Callaway Driver (cant remember the exact type)from NB's, and a few weeks later while at the local Driving Range I heard a rattle coming from the club. On speaking to the staff they told me that they could not repair it, and it would have to be returned to Callaway, and it would take two weeks to return it.

Having waited the two weeks I contacted the Driving Range to be told it was STILL with them. I then contacted Callaway Custoner Care and they coulndn't have been more helpful. They uplifted the club within 24 hrs and said it would be returned in 2 to 3 days.

I received a phone call from them the next day to say that they could not repair it,and they didnt have any of the same type available.

So they sent me a 'Brand New' FT9 Driver

So my advise would be, depending how old the club is, contact Customer Care and see what they have to say, providing you can afford to be without your club for a few days, it might be to your advantage.

Callaway customer service were brilliant when I called them, a 2 minute call turned into 45 minutes and I felt guilty having to hang up in the end.

.. here's hoping it wasn't a premium rated number

Cheers for the feedback guys. Judging by what you have said then hopefully i can be pretty sure of some very helpful service. As i can afford to be without a driver (im going to have to be anyway, i dont want to try using it again)im definitely going to be in contact with them on monday. Hopefully things will go smoothly and i will also be able to find a driver to use before 22nd for the xmas stableford

Sounds like you don't have much to worry about then. Good to see a company (especially one of the big players) actually making sure its not always about profits. Maybe someone from Cally could give 118 golf a few tips

Rang up cally this evening and i was told that i had to take it to my local American golf to be sent off, going to do it tomorrow if i have time so hopefully the problem will be sorted out soon. By the way i was told that their policy is to send out a replacement driver (definitely not refund, repair etc) so it will be interesting to see what, if anything, they send me.
