Callaway Chrome soft

I use these. Used to use titleist pro v1. Never again as the chrome soft for me is such a fantastic ball. The only negative I can find with them is they don't float. I gained noticeable distance on all shots especially the driver but get more spin on short irons. There soft but solid if you know what I mean, if you don't go and hit a chrome soft :DGood price too for there performance.

The only negative I find with them is that they do seem to spring off the putter face making distance control a bit tricky until you get used to them.

A few folk I know who used them have gone back to old-fashioned putters without the dampening inserts in the face and have said that makes a huge difference.

I swapped to these a few months agog rom the pro v and love them, if you have an insert on your putter it may take you some time to get use to them but I love them and are my ball of choice, also like the super soft also a very good ball.

Big fan of these after Ads49r convinced me to try them. Currently moving to a box of hex control i have for the winter months though. Will go back to the chrome soft in the summer though.

As per other posts, beware using with insert putters. I found them great tee to green but destroyed my putting confidence so got rid. Also found them a bit squidgy when the weather warmed up.

As if by magic, I now have a milled putter. Feel a lot better when putting at home so tempted to have another go when my trusty NXT Tour S run out..

Wondered why some were suggesting they were a bit soft putting - inserts never crossed my mind - I have a milled putter and not experienced any issues putting these.

I find improve my putting considerably. Especially if like me prone to leaving putts short. Does spring off putter face and very quite sound any other ball seems loud of putter face now.

The ball flys off the face of the driver with much less spin and therefore BIG gains in distance !!!!

Where abouts you hit the ball on the driver head will more than override any effect a ball is having. As others have posted, there is about 5 yards difference in distance for the entire Titliest range from the Velocity distance ball aimed at hackers to the Pro V1 aimed at tour pros. And I expect every other manufacturer is the same, you are not suddenly going to get a great increase in distance by changing ball.

Didn't like them at all. Lost about 15yds. Felt fine of the face but poor distance off the tee and an iron more into the green.

Distance was same as all other balls for me, feel was good was driver and irons. Felt quite nice off wedges and checked quickly. Putter was like hitting a sponge ball, and I left everything short.
