So today whilst at tesco's I asked to pre oreder cod. I ask how much it was and this is where it gets crazy. To pre order you have to pay £5 and the rest on the day. But they dont know how much its going to be. So I say " what happens if its propa expensive and I dont want it?" then you loose your money sir.

So you have to pay a non refundable £5 for a game that you dont know the price for????

Bit of a joke really. At least my local xtravision if I change my mind they let me use it on something else. Expect it to be 45-50 though. You could do the sensible thing and just get BF4 ;)

Tesco for the last 4 years have done cod for £40 with 2100 ms points. They will be among the cheapest I'm sure. I've never pre ordered it. Just pop in at 12:30 on release night. Job done.

No need to pre-order anyway mate I don't remember a COD game ever selling out... If you do want to pre-order then do so at Game as you get your money back if you don't want the game.

dont buy it from Tesco, simple, there are many other sources and if you buy online you have a clear 7 days to return, by law, for a full refund no questions (unopened and unused of course)

i'm all exited. I want it at midnight ( how sad am i?)

Order online and you'll get it the day before anyway. I always found shopto.net to be very reliable for this ;)

Picky about me COD's, don't buy everyone but I love playing it. Got Battlefield 3 last year and although it's massive and a great game you just can't beat the intensity of COD. No running around for 5 minutes to find where the battle is at like with BF ;)

This is correct, I pre-ordered black ops2 got to the front of the queue faster at 12 midnight on release night and also got the 2100 ms points offer for like £2 more. They will be the cheapest on release day, but straight after you'll see the price go to £42+...

How this is going to work on the release of the xbox one, i'm not sure

Only to get shot instantly and have to start all over again. Or is that just me? :-D

Never got the whole thing about these sort of games. Whether it's football, golf, call of duty or yon assassin boy running about it just doesn't do anything for me. Why would you want to be at a store at midnight for a computer game that'll still be available when the place opens tomorrow morning at 9am anyway ?

:confused::confused::confused:

cod2 was the best imo, gave up after that.

Also I never ever play these SP, these games like BF3 and BF4, cod2 etc come into their own online. You can't beat playing against other minds as opposed to bots
