BF3 is immense, when it bloody works, had some awesome rounds today. Will possibly get MW3 but already preordered 2 copies for my boys

bf3 is made for multiplayer, the single player campaign, is a second thought when it comes to the game, mw3 for me has it both great story and fast quick fun multiplayer

took a small 2 week break, played last week and posted my best score to date at upton, only 102 but think the break did me good, was playing too much and exspecting even more, so got my arse kicked lol

I've preordered it but currently hammering the online of BF3 and it is awesome especially with friends. Much more team orientated than Cod usually is. Mate of mine was playing MW3 this evening as he received his copy early.

Had my dispatch email from Sainsburys this morning, I ordered the Hardened Edition for 360 (£59). Currently have BF3 and loving it, both SP and MP!

MW3 wont be a patch on BF3, plus console MP gaming just isn't the same, yes it looks ok but reaction times are so slow plus it looks cartoony with the old gfx in the consoles, if they would only bring out a ps4 i think they could entice a lot of pc owners over

Being classed as an "old git" do I understand that you are saying that games are better on a pc than, say, a Wii or ps 3?
I am going to be laid up for a few weeks around Xmas and a was planning to buy a game or two to try.

yes Chris, they are waaayyy better, mostly down to the fact the consoles are limited and their tech is a few years old now, plus reaction times with a kb/m is far more realistic than a console pad.
Don't get me wrong there are many pro's for consoles; ease of use, hardly a patch to be done, works everytime etc etc but the graphics and playability is surpassed with a decent pc.

I've played COD since the beginning but after the disaster that was Black Ops i decided no more, so went and got BF3 last week, i'm not interested in the campaign, so doesnt' bother me that its not great, i'm only interested in MP, which is unbelieveably good, one of those games where you think you've been playing 5mins and it turns out to be a couple of hours. And if you're really missing COD, the odd game of TDM on BF3 will keep you happy, in amongst epic rounds of Rush and Conquest.
