Bye Bye Howeller

just got the latest issue and read that David Howell is finishing as playing Editor, to be replaced by Paul McGinley.

Ive enjoyed reading his column and would like to wish him all the best as he focuses on his family and hopefully winning some golf tournaments

As they say, a change is as good as a rest! I'm sure that pro golfers only have so many stories they can impart and viewpoints they can voice so a change should be good.

Paul will be a great addition , last time i met him was a couple of years in Heathrow , we were checking in side by side , he had finished second to Darren C in Holland (i think) the day before . we had a couple of min chat & i asked could i have a photo with him , no probs at all , waited till i checked the camera & was happy with the photo , genuine guy ..
Tried to add the photo as my avatar when i joined & made a mess of it , reduced it in size but must have deleted the origional so still have a small photo of myself with the man at least ..
