Im about to buy my first putter (the one I have was given to me), the Odyssey White Ice 2 Ball.

Just wanted to know if anybody out there has one or tried it and what they think of it. Any comments good or bad are welcome as I may have overlooked a different putter or something else.

Cheers

Sorry Richy, but that depends on how long your bit of string is.
Handicap? Height? Do you play on fast greens? What do you like the look of? Budget? ete etc

More info will help

They are pretty good putters. Callaway don't really make bad ones (Odyssey being owned by Callaway in case you're confused). The two ball is OK but I found the face a bit soft for my greens which are generally slow, especially on long putts. I did have an odyssey marxman http://www.americangolf.co.uk/golf-clubs/golf-putters/odyssey-white-hot-xg-marxman-blade-putter/ which was pretty good. You had the look of a blade with the alignment of a two ball (although not actually a two ball in this case)

sorry bob should of said in the OP. I'm 5'9 with a handicap of 28. My green speed varies to be honest and I'm a fan of blade and mallet. I never set myself a budget.

I think the white ice has a slightly firmer feel to it compared to previous models.

Cant comment on the white ice version but have used the 2 ball and its a great putter, very good for lining up and a nice weight.

Only gripe is on our slowish greens the insert and a soft ball make long putts quite difficult
