Just a warning to anyone out there that is considering purchasing any goods online from outside the EU, as of November 1st the deminius value for which goods can enter the country free of duty/vat is being reduced.
Currently goods to the valuie of £18 get free passage, higher valued goods are liable to daty/vat. As of Nov 1st the value is being reduced to £15. Not a lot of difference but after a sample at work it was reckoned another 15% of goods entering the country will fall into the duty/vat payable category
