If you are not sure about doing it, then don't.

Though it all depends upon what you are buying & the company you are purchasing from.

There is a lot of fake & substandard equipment comes out of the USA care of unscruprilous companies, which is to the detriment to some of the excelent kit that also comes out of there.

The trouble is no one does the club I am after (in the UK)
I am not joking I must have telephone at the least 50 pro shops
from one end of the country to the other. They either don't stock it or have never heard of it. And the only place I can get it from is the USA

Anyhow thanks for the replies

The problem is import duty and VAT. I have bought stuff from the US before, and the courier company won't part with it til you pay the duty, so I bought something for £60, p&p was £5, and when it arrived, out of the blue, I was hit for another £25. Hence £60 became £90, which was about £5 less than I could have bought it for in AG.

In my opinion, not worth the bother, unless what you are getting really cannot be bought over here.

I purchased a set of clubs not so long ago that unbeknown to me had been part of a job lot purchased from the States.
When I received them I found the shafts were not UK spec and as such would have been almost impossible to replace had I had a mishap. The company I was dealing with changed them in the end, but it still cost me money due to the error.

I'm intriged (sp) about what this club is?

As Johnny English said if I told you that I would have to kill you :D :D ;)

It's nothing special but I know it will suit my game and I will be comfortable with it

Is it one of those "Chip Master" thingies, you know the ones that look a little like a putter but have the loft of a 7 iron. :D :D ;)
