Have done this a few times. Currently more than $2 to the £ so there are bargains to be had for sure. The limit before being subject to extra UK import taxes is £52.00 so if you pay for stuff over that value you will pay UK customs and excise something like 25% more than the product cost in the US in my experience. With the post and packing to factor in you need to do some careful arithmetic before splurging. Also delivery can take a while.
I have dealt with global golf and found them to be very reasonable..mind you I live in Canada so my shipping isn't costly but their used clubs are usually in better condition than described...The 3 mactec nvg2 fairway woods I bought were all still in the wrapper and cost less than $100 canadian each..I think that's about 50 pounds but I not too sure
