I popped this into another thread but didn't want to hijack it so thought I'd start another.

I hadn't heard of these guys until I came across them yesterday. Has anyone purchased from them? They have a ton of good looking second hand clubs. I was thinking may testing out the clubs at AG and then seeing what Golf Bidder can do for a second hand set. Good idea?

I don't have a lot of cash floating around, with an impending house purchase on the horizon but need some new irons!

JP,
I've used golfbidder a few times, always found that their rating of clubs was low as the ones i got were great condition, trade in prices are poor, but they are a business, you also get 7 days to return them if your not happy.

Also used them a couple of times, and also found the gear to be in better nick than expected. If you are willing to take the hit on trade-in prices it saves the hassle of Ebay-ing it.

Golfbidder have good stock, genuine stock(guaranteed) and their ratings are accurate or even under - so the club may be in even better nick than they say.
Prices are higher than the auction sites but, as has been said, you can return in 7 days - as long as the condition of the club hasn't significantly changed - for a full refund excluding postage.
It can be a good way of trying older clubs on course. If, say, you want a G5 Driver, you can get one from them, try it for a couple of rounds and if you don't like it send it back. All for the cost of a bit of postage. Probably not the most cost-effective way but where else can you try a G5...?
Very good service too.

I have had a couple of occasions when the inventory has been wrong. Once, a particular driver was shown on the website as Spec A but actually it was Spec B - they sorted it out so no worries.

ive used them a couple of times and as above very efficent and excellent service would recommend if they have what your looking for, and using AG to browse and have a look in the flesh is something i do too.

I've used these guys a lot as their shop is based near me (New Malden).

I have never had any issues with the clubs I've bought from them and the condition of the clubs received has never disappointed and as already pointed out probably better than I'd expected.

In terms of trading old stuff in with them they don't offer more if you are after an exchange rather than selling. It's usually better to eBay items as you'll generally end up with more than you were offered at GB.

To give you an idea they offered me £70.00 for a TM R11 which I declined and sold it for £140.00 on eBay.
